This study was aimed at finding out find out the design and implementation of Competency-Based Assessment in English for Frontliner classroom of training center. This research belonged to descriptive qualitative. It was conducted in English for Frontliner classroom at Balai Latihan Kerja Surakarta. Three English instructors were selected as the participants through purposive sampling. The sources of data are informants, events, and documents.
