Abstract:
The Old Town of Semarang is a conservation area with many colonial buildings. In the 1920s, the old city became a center of trade, and to secure its citizens and territories, a fortress was built. This area has an area of approximately 31 hectares. Seen from the geographical condition, this area is separated from the surrounding area, so it is formed like the city itself, and earned the nickname "Little Netherland". Some of the buildings in the colonial period, have now turned function into business premises, such as restaurants, cafes, retail and galleries.
