Abstract:
Because of its geographical situation, Niger is suffering from the extreme effects of climate change, which is impacting on its socio-economic development. Since the major droughts of the 1970s and 1980s, the State has strengthened the irrigation system, but climatic hazards are hampering farming practices and profitability. The aim of this research is to assess the effects of climate change on the functioning of the Sébéri AHA.
