Abstract:
Global organizations are increasingly recognizing the importance of environmental sustainability, leading to the incorporation of green supply chain management (GSCM) into their operations. This research study sought to assess the effects of Green Supply Chain Management practices on the performance of edible oil producers in Kenya; A case study of Mvita Oil Company Limited. The specific objectives were: to examine the influence of lean supply chain practice on performance of Edible oil manufacturing companies in Kenya; to assess the effect of renewable energyadoption practice on performance of Edible oil manufacturing companies in Kenya; to assess the effect customer management practice on performance of Edible oil manufacturing companies in Kenya and finally to find out the effect of reverse logistics practice performance of Edible oil manufacturing companies in Kenya.
