Abstract:
Schizophrenia is a long-term mental disorder of a type involving a breakdown in the relation between thought, emotion, and behavior, leading to faulty perception, inappropriate actions and feelings, withdrawal from reality and personal relationships into fantasy and delusion, and a sense of mental fragmentation. The long-term treatment of schizophrenia usually involves continuous specialty mental health care, including maintenance therapy with antipsychotic agents. A comparison study was conducted between a government sector hospital and private sector hospital. A questionnaire was utilized to collect the data.
