Abstract: The present study deals with the phytochemical examination and therapeutic importance of Pergularia daemia .The plant Pergularia daemia has been traditionally used as laxative ,antipyretic ,expectorant and also used to treat infantile diarrhea and malarial fever.This study involves the preliminary phytochemical screening followed by antibactertial activity.
