Abstract:
BACKGROUND: Stroke is an important cause of disability and death. Recently several studies have claimed that RDW is a good predictor of outcome in stroke. As RDW is a complete blood count (CBC) parameter that is routinely determined in clinical laboratories, these studies important implications in patient management in developing countries.
