Abstract:
This study examined the factors contributing to adoption of mobile technologies in public service delivery in Kajiado North sub-county. The independent variables were performance expectation, effort expectancy, social influence and facilitating conditions in line the Unified Theory of Acceptance and use of technology. Simple random sampling based on sample frame of all heads and deputy heads of government departments based in the sub-county was used. The main instrument for the study were self-constructed questionnaire. Data was organized, edited, analyzed and interpreted using descriptive and inferential statistics with the help of Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 2.0. The data was categorized, themes established, coded, entered into the computer and analyzed.
