Abstract:
Thirty castrated male Sudan desert sheep, Hamari ecotype were involved in this study. The animals were kept for a pre-experimental period of two weeks, during which they were fed on groundnut haulm only. The animals were sub- grouped into three groups namely A, B and C.Each animal group received different feed named as the group name (A,B,C) the feed was offered to the animal groups on adlibitum base, while groundnut haulm was offered as a source of roughage daily.
