A Study on use of information resources and services of City Central Library and its branch libraries, Mysore , Karnataka State, India shows that majority of users were men between the age group of 16 – 25 years and they included unemployed graduates and students who visit the library daily. Most of the users are also member of the library. They got acquainted with the libraries through their friends and through mobile library services. They opine that the location of library and working hours are convenient to them. They visit the library for educational purpose. Most of the users spend 2 hours per day in the library. Short stories, adventure story books, biographies, sports literature and general books were the most frequently read information sources of interest to the users.
