The main objective of this study was to identify the spatial distribution of annual and seasonal rainfall in Kandy District (2005-2014) and long term annual and seasonal rainfall trends in Kandy (1875-2014). The monthly rainfall data have been collected from 19 rainfall stations in Kandy District. The data was obtained from the Department of Meteorology and other relevant institutions.
