Abstract:
Neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) are communicable diseases, they occur in poor or developing countries around the world and ruin lives of more than a billion people around the world and endanger the health of several million others. The present study aims to identify frequent neglected tropical diseases and the age groups of the population most affected in the Katana Health Zone. A retrospective documentary study was carried out; the methodology consisted of counting all cases recorded in health structures from 2018-2022. This is then an exhaustive sample of all recorded cases of neglected tropical diseases.
