Abstract:
Violent In recent years, Kenya has grappled with the persistent threat of violent extremism, particularly from groups like Al-Shabaab, which have targeted both civilian and government institutions, posing significant challenges to peace, stability, and socio-economic development. Traditional approaches to countering violent extremism in Kenya have predominantly relied on punitive measures such as law enforcement crackdowns and prosecution of suspected terrorists.
