Abstract:
Pregnant women with pulmonary hypertension are at a high risk of morbidity and mortality. Heart failure results from the inability to increase cardiac output, and additional risks are introduced by hypercoagulability and a decrease in systemic vascular resistance. Although advanced therapies have been reported to be promising, they do not completely eliminate the risks and complications.
