Abstract:
Institutions of higher learning are experiencing rapid changes and as a result they have been challenged to adopt effective change management strategies in order to remain competitive. Effective internal communication is regarded as a vital ingredient in successful management of change as it will affect how organizational leaders engage with employees and achieve change objectives. Several scholars have established that there is need for effective communication with employees especially during organizational change.
