The telecommunication companies over the globe are growing very fast and this has been attributed to the strategic planning and implementation of growth strategies. Despite the industry experiencing a boom in the recent past, only a handful of scholarly studies have been conducted in Kenya to capture these growth moments and make sense of them. They key determinants for success of implementation of strategic plan are the government policies, leadership style, marketing positioning and the organizational structure among others. Essentially, the study sought to bring out the how these determinants predict the implementation of strategic change with focus on telecommunication entities in Kenyan context.
