Abstract:
Background: Thoracic surgery, particularly for non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), is associated with significant physiological stress, leading to impaired pulmonary function, decreased exercise capacity, and heightened risk of postoperative pulmonary complications (PPCs). Postoperative pulmonary rehabilitation (PR) has been proposed as a strategy to enhance recovery and reduce morbidity, yet its precise impact remains under investigation.
