Abstract: Two different methods for measuring dissociation energy have been employed. 1: ‘a’ Parameter ( a being the ratio of Lorentz broadening to Doppler broadening) of Ca and Sr first resonance lines and of the Na II- doublet has been derived from self absoption by applying a combination of the methods of “ Flame duplication” and the “curve of Growth” method.
