Abstract:
Potassium and molybdenum are essential plant nutrients that are required in almost all the processes necessary for plant growth and development. Therefore, the aim of the study was to investigate the influence of potassium and molybdenum on the growth, yield, and nutrient content of soybean. The experiment was conducted at the Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University research field, Dhaka, Bangladesh, during the period of December 2013 to April 2014. The experiment comprised two factors: factor A: four levels of potassium (K0: 0 kg K¬2O ha–1, K1: 30 kg K¬2O ha–1, K2: 40 kg K¬2O ha–1, K3: 50 kg K¬2O ha–1), and factor B: three levels of molybdenum (Mo0: 0 kg Mo ha–1, Mo1: 1.0 kg Mo ha–1, Mo2: 1.5 kg Mo ha–1).
