Abstract: Peripheral intravascular cannulae, commonly used in inpatient settings for intravenous treatments, are frequently linked to complications such as infections, which can harm patient health and increase healthcare costs. To address these risks, infection prevention and control practices are required by legal notice no. 46 of 23rd March 2016.
