Abstract:
Governance basically fosters effective and inclusive decision making process in all forms of authority. It ensures the legitimacy of citizens in determining their own ways of persuading the course of resource distribution and utilization to realize much anticipated upshots. Despite all the efforts guaranteed in the Constitution of Kenya, 2010 and other international conventions to offer women opportunities to govern, women’s role in decision making on governance is still low; meaning that women are still faced by challenges in decision making on governance.
