Abstract: Digital radiology is one of the diagnostic and therapeutic modalities which has been adopted in Ghana for health needs and research. Radiations come in two forms, either ionizing radiations or non-ionizing radiations, which may cause some form(s) of adverse effects. The main objective of the study was to determine and analyze the Weighted Computed Tomography Dose Index (CTDIw) of CT scanner (which produces ionized radiation) for potential adverse effects at the 37 Military Hospital Radiology Department for both diagnostic and therapeutic radiology.
