Abstract: Indigenous Knowledge Systems (IKS) constitute a vital yet undervalued resource in weather forecasting, particularly in rural communities across sub-Saharan Africa where formal meteorological services remain inaccessible or unreliable. This study investigated the role and effectiveness of IKS in weather forecasting in Ward 13, Zvishavane District, Zimbabwe, using a qualitatively dominant mixed-methods case study design underpinned by Actor-Network Theory.
