Abstract:
The Government of Kenya (GoK) has made effort to strengthen the small business sector yet micro and small enterprises (MSEs) are perceived to have registered weak links with all potential customers. The purpose of this study was to establish whether MSEs could satisfactorily supply requirements to public institutions. It specifically sought to establish whether MSEs could assist public institutions achieve procurement objectives; identify attributes that could make MSEs’ good suppliers and determine the nature of relationship between Suppliers’ attributes and their satisfactory performance.
