Abstract:
This study was conducted to update the biosocio-economic condition of fishing community around the Titas River of Kasba Upazila in Brahmanbaria district from July to December, 2016. This data were collected through PRA method, questionnaire survey and focus group discussion from randomly selected 45 different local fishermen communities of 3 villages. The results of the study revealed some interesting facts and showed that more than 47% of total catch was Siluriformes followed by Perciformes 20%.
