Abstract:
Enfuvirtide is a first of its class as a fusion inhibitor drug which inhibits the fusion of HIV-1 virus with CD4+ cells on the target organism with a human therapeutic dose of 90mg/twice daily. It is a linear 36 amino acid peptide with the empirical formula C204H30N51O64, and the molecular weight of 4.4Kd.
