Abstract: The assessment of natural radionuclides and geophysical effects in hydrocarbon- producing communities in Ondo State, Nigeria was conducted using gamma spectrom- etry. A calibrated NaI(TI) detector was used to analyze 25 sediment and 25 plants samples collected from different area within the communities.
