Effects Of Cognitive Restructuring Technique In Reducing Stealing Tendency Among Secondary School Students In Delta State

Abstract: The researchers were disturbed by the rate of stealing exhibited by students in school and the effects it has on them. And the relentless quest for solutions to this problem, has led to this study that sought to determine the effects of cognitive restructuring technique in reducing stealing tendency among secondary school students in Ika south Local Government Area of Delta state. Two research questions guided the study and two null hypotheses were tested at 0.05alpha levels of significance. A pre-test, post-test non-randomized control group quasi-experimental design was adopted for this study.
