Abstract: The aim of this study is to develop a work based learning guide for industrial training of carpentry and joinery students in computer aided design (CAD) in technical colleges in South-South. One researcher question was posed to guide the study. The study was guided by one null hypothesis and was tested at .05 level of significance. The research design adopted for the study was Research and Development (R&D). This design was appropriate because the findings of the study is utilized in designing and developing new programme, materials, which will provide knowledge and skills.
