Abstract: This study aims to make easier for students to doing online learning by using the telegram bot application. This research were tested on seventh grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Muntilan. The Covid-19 pandemic condition, which requires students to do online learning, makes it difficult for students, in particular in the lessons of writing and reading poetry. The research was conducted by using telegram as a learning media and applying the Criteria Reference Assessment model. The method used in this research was descriptive qualitative.
