Abstract:
The effect of glycylglycine was evaluated as a corrosion inhibitor for zinc in 0.5N HCl by weight loss, gasometric and therometric methods. The inhibition efficiency was found to increase with increase in the inhibitor concentration. The adsorption of the inhibitor molecules on to the zinc metal surface obeyed Temkin adsorption isotherm.
