Abstract: The Standard Penetration Test (SPT) has been used widely for geotechnical investigations, subsurface characterization, and foundation design for decades. However, advancements in geophysical exploration techniques, such as Vertical Electrical Sounding (VES), have emerged as advantageous due to their cost-efficiency, simplicity, reduced time requirements, and minimal human error. In this study, three VES surveys were conducted at Khanewal, Punjab, using the Schlumberger electrode array configuration, along with two rotary boreholes drilled using a hydraulic feed straight rotary technique.
