Abstract: Background: Husbands involvement in seeking timely antenatal care is important. Their support can have a positive impact on health care of pregnant women, which successively depends on their knowledge and attitude regarding the importance of antenatal care. Use of antenatal health services is a good approach to scale back the chance of maternal morbidity and mortality especially in places where the overall health status of women is poor. By increasing the use of antenatal care (ANC) the risk of maternal death can be reduced.
