Abstract:
Diagnosis of childhood cancer significantly changes the lives of those children and their family members. A family caregiver plays a significant role in providing most of the care to their ill patient, in addition to the care provided by the health staff. Identifying and addressing these psychosocial needs of primary caregivers (PCG) of children and adolescents with cancers (CAAWC) is emerging globally as a component that should be incorporated into quality cancer care.
