Abstract: The second wave of COVID-19 infection which resurged in October 2020, stroked Sri Lanka comparatively with a larger number of cases. To cater the increasing trend of COVID-19 positive cases, more primary and secondary healthcare institutions were converted into COVID-19 treatment and intermediate care centers .
