The Impact of Foreign Direct Investment on Tax Revenue Growth in Zimbabwe (1980-2015)

Abstract: The study empirically investigated the impact of FDI on Tax Revenue Growth in Zimbabwe using annual time series data spanning from 1980 to 2015. The study aimed at establishing whether FDI inflows boost or stifles tax revenue growth in Zimbabwe. The motivation behind the study arises from the theoretical and empirical ambiguity that exists regarding the nature of the influence of FDI on Tax Revenue Growth of host nations.
