Abstract:
Cultural festivals play a vital role in promoting culture, ensuring culture preservation, showcasing the cultural arts and unearthing talent. This article examines the influence and the role played by cultural festivals in the CAPA classroom in Botswana. Eight experienced CAPA teachers who are currently teaching CAPA in primary schools in Botswana were interviewed. The study is structured in the multiple case approach involving eight primary school teachers in eight districts. An interview was made with these teachers and to reach those teachers residing at remote places, questionnaire and responses went through mobile phone text exchange.
