Abstract:
Adhesive capsulitis affects shoulder joint with pain and mobility deficits. It has been termed as a self-limiting condition but recent evidences have shown patients facing long term disability for years due to this condition. Pain and stiffness are the factors defining disability with early pain or late stiffness in this condition. The level of disability is a component defining clinical state of adhesive capsulitis by which interventions can be planned out.
