Abstract: Poisoning is a major problem all over the world, although its type and the associated morbidity and mortality vary from country to country. Most of the poisoning cases are suicidal in nature. Rodenticides are pesticides specifically used to kill rodents. Rodenticide poisoning has varied incidence across the country. Rodenticide poisoning remains a major public health problem in Asian countries.(1) The mortality rates also vary significantly.
