Abstract: Papillary renal cell carcinoma (PRCC) is the most common type of non-clear cell renal cell carcinoma (nccRCC). Among the PRCCs, type 2 PRCC (PRCC2) often presents with highly aggressive tumor behavior and relative resistance to chemotherapy. In contrast to clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC), the genomic alteration landscape of PRCC2 has been poorly understood. Therefore, we aimed to investigate genetic alterations involved in the pathogenesis of PRCC2.
