Abstract:
Brachial plexus block was performed using supraclavicular approach and a mixture ofadrenalized lignocaine and bupivacaine either aloneor combined with dexamethasone was administered. Dexamethasone is selected as an adjuvant to localanaesthetics in brachial plexus block because it has been reported to prolong duration of action of local anaesthetics.
