Abstract:
The problem of errors in clinical laboratory has recently received a great deal of attention. Which plays a key role to healthcare services and may generate a serious risk affecting patients life. The frequency of laboratory errors varies greatly, depending on the diagnosis procedures and steps of the total testing process. In this paper, technical specification and recommendations by International Organization for Standardization (ISO) have been collected and explored to achieve better understanding for corrective procedures to reduce errors in laboratory.
