Abstract:
Oil is any nonpolar chemical substance that is a viscous liquid at ambient temperatures. Oil drilling is a complex process that involves the drilling and pumping of oil from underground wells. There are some technologies for bringing oil to the earth surface. Oil drilling reaches usually a depth of 2 to 3 km. The drill heads containing a sophisticated sensor electronic, which is collecting data permanently during the drilling process. Due to the high friction temperatures up to 300°C may occur, only selected electronic components may resist for a few days.
