Abstract:
This study aims to provide an overview of the concept of a legal settlement to errors in medical practice. This research was conducted by using research methods Normative, by abstracting of legal materials both primary, secondary and tertiary qualitative approach. Results of this study concluded that the concept of a legal settlement to errors in medical practice subject to all positive law justice system in both criminal law, civil law, the law of the State administration, consumer protection, code of conduct and discipline of medicine, thus potentially cause legal uncertainty for the medical profession as well as optimizing the impact on inhibition of improving the quality of public health services in general.
