Abstract:
Background: Research has shown that tramadol is better in management than diclofenac sodium for managing pain in postoperative cholecystectomy. However, it has been demonstrated that the risks of tramadol (a synthetic opioid) are harmful effects. Diclofenac sodium, with its favourable safety profile, may be useful in the management of pre-operative and post-operative pain, particularly of mild to moderate severity In this study, we evaluated the preoperative and postoperative pain management in cholecystectomy at a tertiary care hospital
