Abstract:
Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), an open standard link-state dynamic routing protocol, is the most commonly used Interior Gateway Protocol (IGP) in IP networking worldwide. Wide spread deployment and years of experience running the protocol have motivated continuous improvements to make it more manageable, scalable and cost effective by configuring Stub Areas, Totally-Stubby Areas and Route Summarization to accommodate routers having limited resources using OPNET Modeler®14.5.
