Abstract:
This study explored the struggles of Grade 2 learners in learning the Filipino Language under the Special Science Elementary School (SSES) curriculum at Butuan City Special Education Center. A case study approach explored their struggles in listening, reading, speaking, writing, and understanding in Filipino. Findings reveal that learners faced peer communication barriers due to reluctance to speak Filipino, hindering collaboration
