Abstract: This study investigates the awareness and acceptance of modern family planning in selected coastal communities in Lagos State. The purpose of the study is to assess the level of awareness vis-a-vis the extent of acceptance of modern family planning options in Lagos State and determine the significant relationship between the socio-demographic status of the inhabitants in the study area and their level of acceptance of modern family planning methods.
