Abstract:
Background: Methanol poisoning is the toxicity that results from ingestion, inhalation or absorption of methanol. Methanol toxicity remains a public health problem in many parts of the developing world, including Kenya. An outbreak was notified to the disease surveillance and response unit, Kenya in May 2014. FELTP, Kenya was requested to carry out the investigation.
