Abstract: This article presents the validation of the results of the estimation of static voltage stability in electrical power systems, based on the analysis of P-V curves, using ETAP software. Voltage stability is estimated using these curves, which are obtained through multiple power flow simulations that allow stability parameters such as the Maximum Load Point (MLP), voltage collapse point, and static stability limit to be estimated. Subsequently, a static voltage stability study is performed using ETAP software to validate the P-V curves, as well as the previously estimated stability parameters. Several case studies with the 5 and 9 node power system are carried out to estimate voltage stability and validate the results using ETAP.
